Payment Methods and Security
You can make payments in PROJECTKIN’s webshop with the following payment types: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, PayPal, and Klarna (pay later and slice it). Stripe, Klarna, and QuickPay handles all our banking transactions with secure encryption and PROJECTKIN does not store any card details. There is no extra charge for card payments unless your bank charges a fee for you to use a card.
To ensure your safety when making payments on PROJECTKIN’s webshop, you will be subjected to an additional layer of authentication 3D Secure 2, following SCA (Strong Customer Authentication), a requirement of the EU Revised Directive on Payment Services (PSD2) that came into effect on September 14, 2019.
Succesful / Unsuccesful Payment
Successful payment – if your card is authorized, payment will be taken immediately, and you will receive an email from PROJECTKIN confirming that your order has been successful.
Unsuccessful payment – if your card is not authorized, payment will not be taken, and you will receive an email from PROJECTKIN to let you know your bank or card issuer wouldn’t authorize the payment.
Please remember that even if a payment is not authorized, it may look like a payment towards PROJECTKIN is pending. This happens because some card issuers reserve the money for a short period. If you need more information about the period your money is reserved, please contact your card issuer.
